He was born on April 7, 1957 in Warren, Arkansas to Cecil W. Mosley and Evelyn L. Threlkeld Mosley. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Wilmer Mosley.Left to cherish his memory is his beloved daughter, Angela M. Mosley; grandson, Adrian Vanderpool; mother, Evelyn L. Mosley; siblings, Edward (Kathy) Mosley, Cecil (Robin) Mosley, Deon (Alvin) Wells, Danny (Tish) Mosley, Joe (Debra) Mosley, Sharon (Carroll) Williams, Earl Mosley and Dovie Pulley; his companion of several years, Denese Strom; the mother of his daughter, Rita Mosley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews that will forever cherish his memory.Paul’s passion in life was being with his family and friends, hunting, fishing and painting on cars. As Paul never met a stranger in life, his life was always full of friends. Paul was a lifetime mechanic that was the happiest when he had his head under a hood and grease on his hands. Paul leaves behind so many memories for his family and friends to cherish.We can all take comfort in knowing that Paul was ready to go to his heavenly home because he said that he and Jesus had a long talk. So even though we grieve in our loss of our beloved Paul we can know that he isn’t in pain anymore and he is rejoicing with our Lord.A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Frank Wilson officiating. Knowles, 85, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2019.He was born February 15, 1934 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Cade Carter Knowles and Aletha Inez Hawkins Knowles.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Knowles. Mr. Knowles was a faithful member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, co-owner of City Pharmacy for over 20 years and former owner of The Arrangement Shoppe retiring in 2007 after 30 years in business. During his retirement he enjoyed working in his garden and being in the outdoors.He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Glenna Knowles, his son, Dr. Glen Knowles and his wife Nancy of Bradford, his daughter, Aletha Chaney and her husband Bill of Benton, his son, Timothy Knowles and his wife Brittany of Benton, siblings, Anna Sue Simmons and her husband Bobby of Nashville, TN, Pat Taliaferro of Pine Bluff, Louis Knowles of Rison, Jackie Knowles and his wife Jane of Dumas, Billy Knowles and his wife Martha of Rison, grandchildren, Lori Pachl and husband Brian of Iowa, Stephanie Trantham and her husband Bradley of Star City, Nikki DiGuilio and her husband Devin of Texas, Sarah Knight and her husband Tyler of Bradford, Tiffany Knowles of Bradford, Marcia Zakrzewski and her husband Bradley of Benton, Brad Hudson of Benton, Jared Chaney and his wife Ariel of Benton, Nathan Chaney and his wife Meghan of Hot Springs, Carter Knowles of Benton, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Roy Phillips, Darran Kea, Jim Knowles, B.J. Knowles, Brad Hudson, Jared Chaney, Larry Simmons, Sandy Taliaferro and Carter Knowles.Funeral services were Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Ronald Young officiating. Mrs. Boydston was born December 3, 1938 in Randall, Arkansas. She was a daughter of the late James Cullen Willis and Vera Blake Willis.Mrs. Bodyston attended the University of Conway where she received her BSE and the University of Fayetteville where she received her Master of Education and Administration. She taught sixth grade for a combined nine years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Boydston continued to teach for several more years in Woodlawn, Arkansas before accepting an elementary principal position, which she held for twenty years.She was a member of AEA, AESP, Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and NESP. Mrs. Boydston was a faithful member of Center Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, Discovery program for children, bible school and served on the education committee.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Boydston Sr.Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie Lynn Boydston Lane; son, Edward Carroll Boydston Jr. and his wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Robinson, Spencer Drake Robinson; four sisters, Ernestine Taunton, Diane Ashcraft, Bobby Jane Wyatt, Gloria Bass and two brothers, Joe Willis and James Carroll Willis.A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Center Missionary Baptist Church in Rowell with Brother Doney Blackerby officiating.
